Welcome to Timber Kids!
The Kids Ministry at Cross Timbers encompasses all children Birth-6th Grade.
When you arrive for any of our ministries, be sure to check your kids in at the computer in the Welcome Center.
Every kids' Sunday school class uses The Gospel Project chronological curriculum. This curriculum shows how the entire Bible points to Jesus. The classes are divided into:
Childcare is provided during the worship service for children in kindergarten and younger. They can remain in their Sunday school classrooms for age-appropriate activities during the service. You’ll need your guardian sticker from when you checked in to pick up your child after the service.
At 10:30am, kids from 1st grade through 6th grade are invited to join their parents in the worship service. You’ll need your guardian sticker to pick them up after Sunday school. Busy bags with activities and sermon notes for kids are available at the back of the sanctuary to help your children during worship.
Here at Cross Timbers, we believe that the safety and security of your children is essential to our ministry. Because of this, we are proud to say that every person that serves in our kids ministry has completed a background check as well as abuse awareness training through MinistrySafe ©.
We also use a check-in program called KidCheck. It is a secure, online system that allows the volunteer to know who is allowed to pick up your child. If you are planning on visiting, you can get a jump start by downloading the app and creating an account, or visit the check in computer when you enter the Welcome Center. When you arrive on Sunday, simply check-in from home or in the church parking lot to streamline check in & pick up your sticker at the computer. This allows you to indicate if there is any allergy or medical information.
