Shamoir has been on staff at Cross Timbers since 2024. He came to Christ at the age of twenty-two, and has since devoted his life to learning the Scriptures, while also helping others grow in their knowledge and understanding of Christ. In 2019 he began to embrace his call to ministry while serving at Ocean Avenue Baptist Church in Jersey City, NJ as Social Media Content Editor before relocating to Texas with his family in 2020. Previously, he served on staff as Young Adults Minister at Frisco First Baptist Church, leading several Young Adult community groups, gospel outreach teams, as well as serving as an Apartment Life on-site coordinator. He is currently finishing his bachelor’s degree in Biblical & Theological Studies at Liberty University. Shamoir and his family currently reside in Fort Worth. He loves to workout, play basketball, but most importantly spend time with his wife Alexcia and their three children.
Nathan Burggraff
Nathan has been on staff at Cross Timbers since 2024. In addition to his role at the church, Nathan also serves as associate professor of music theory and director of the piano department at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music (M.M., M.A., Ph.D.) in Rochester, NY, Nathan has focused his academic research on examining the impact of musical and cultural changes on congregational singing and has published articles in Artistic Theologian and the Southwestern Journal of Theology. He has also produced two solo sacred piano albums: “Hymns & Prayers” and “O Come, O Come, Emmanuel.” When he is not in the classroom or serving in the church, Nathan enjoys spending time with his wife Diana and their five boys. He is also an avid fan of LEGO and proudly displays his numerous sets across the bookshelves in his seminary office!

Misty Gober
Misty has a heart for helping those in need. She graduated with a degree in Social Work from Texas Woman’s University and still maintains her licensure. After graduating from college, Misty spent several years working with at risk children and their families. Once her own children were born, she began working in church-based preschools. Over the years, she’s taught chapel, music, Sunday School and volunteered with Vacation Bible School. She was the Assistant Director at a local church-based preschool for 5 years, and the Director for 3 years. Misty has lived in Aledo and been a proud Bearcat supporter for over 20 years. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and their three children.

Amanda O'Bryan
Amanda is a Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. She has devoted many years of her life to teaching children about Jesus's love. She has taught in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, AWANA and through Puppet Ministry. In 1999, she and her daughter took a full Puppet Ministry set to South Africa. They taught Bible College Students to reach children for Jesus using Puppet Ministry. She loves sharing the joy we have through Christ Jesus. Giving children a solid foundation on which to build their personal relationship with Jesus is very important to her.
